Today on Pride of the Ocean | Monday June 11

Today began our first of many screenings this week, and a busy day it was! We began with the amazing documentary VITO by Jeffrey Schwarz. Miriam Cutler, the film’s musical composer is on board with us, and did a wonderful Q&A session after the film.

Following VITO, was our first “Filmmaker on Board, Special Screening” with producer Lesli Klainberg presenting PAUL MONETTE: THE BRINK OF SUMMER’S END.

In mid-afternoon we held our first of three CineSLAM Film Slam Seminars, which is a program that offers the chance for filmmakers to workshop their works-in-progress among a group of talented peers.

Finally, we finished the day with our first official group dinner and the elegant Cosmopolitan restaurant.
