A: No. Pride of the Ocean is an LGBT film festival, hosted annually aboard a luxury cruise liner.
A: One of the most important missions of Pride of the Ocean is to increase visibility of the LGBT community. For this reason, we choose to host our film festival aboard ships with a diverse group of passengers, so that we are able to do our part in putting out a positive, constructive, example of our community to society at large.

A: Of course! While some of our films may contain adult themes that are perhaps inappropriate for children, families of all sizes are welcome. The ship offers many programs and activities for children and families. For more information on these activities, please see the Norwegian Cruise Line “Family Cruises” information by clicking here.
A: Pride of the Ocean is dedicated to providing high quality, LGBT-themed shorts, narrative features, and documentaries. Our films are selected from submissions coming to us from filmmakers around the world. For some examples of films we have shown in the past, click here.
