PRIDE OF THE OCEAN PRESENTS: Director Cheryl Furjanic presents a sneak preview of her new film: BACK ON BOARD: Greg Louganis.
An intimate portrait of an American legend, BACK ON BOARD Greg Louganis, is a feature-length documentary that tells the life story of this four-time Olympic Champion as he returns to diving after a long period of absence. BACK ON BOARD explores the captivating, compelling, and complicated life of an Olympic star whose athletic talent sparked a worldwide fascination with diving.
Greg Louganis will be at our Bon Voyage Party at the Sheraton Seattle on August 17th.
ON PRIDE OF THE OCEAN: LA based Producer, Stephen Israel, will screen his masterfully made film I DO followed by a special discussion on the meaning of the Supreme Court decision on gay marriage, expected to be made this coming Jun.
ON PRIDE OF THE OCEAN: Director Yoruba Richen, who work-shopped her film in our CineSLAM program on our 2011 cruise, is back with THE NEW BLACK, now completed.
Our Body of Work honoree Andrea Meyerson will be presenting one of her many films: THE TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY TOUR WITH KATE CLINTON.
CineSLAM: Vermont’s Festival Of Shorts – A few shorts will be seen during Pride of the Ocean in our screenings and in the special workshops open for observers.
