What the Press is saying about Pride of the Ocean
…Pride of the Ocean, a gay-and-lesbian film festival aboard the Celebrity Summit on a June cruise to Bermuda. There were about 50 of us on a ship whose occupancy is around 2,200, so it seemed like the perfect recipe for being part of a group while not feeling like the ship was Fire Island at sea. nytimes.com
With filmmakers and a few surprise guests on board, the luxury cruise ship will head to Alaska, making scenic stops in Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan, where passengers can absorb the beauty of the state by helicopter, zip-line or kayak. Then passengers will be treated to a full day in resplendent Glacier Bay. edgeonthenet.com
Billed as “The Only Floating Film Festival” this is not just a cruise to Alaska. It’s a gay group cruise to Glacier Bay, and a great way to mix and mingle with other LGBT film lovers who may have missed the winning films and documentaries at local festivals around the country. examiner.com
